Abortion: Facts, Arguments, Evidence and Impact
Title of Event: Abortion: Facts, Arguments, Evidence and Impact
Description of Event:
Arguably one of the most relevant and controversial topics of the day is abortion- a topic also surrounded by confusion and stigma.
In this webinar, we’ll explore abortion in a way that clears this confusion and reduces stigma. We will begin with the facts and statistics, have a discussion about the mechanisms of abortion and cover the laws and policies affecting abortion around the globe. We’ll then unpack the controversy around abortion, exploring common arguments for and against and presenting the evidence and facts behind them. Finally, we’ll challenge ourselves in examining abortion bias and how it shows up in professional practice. We’ll conclude with a highlight on some positive things to keep in mind.
If you’re looking to gain a deeper, well-rounded understanding of abortion and its role in health and society, this session has you covered.
